The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Shakespeare's plays, sonnets, and historical context, and will be committed to fostering a love for literature and drama among middle school students. This role involves coaching students in acting techniques, textual analysis, and performance skills, while creating an engaging and supportive learning environment. Responsibilities Develop and implement lesson plans focused on Shakespearean texts, including plays and sonnets. Facilitate workshops and rehearsals to enhance students' acting skills and understanding of Shakespearean language. Provide individualized coaching and feedback to students to improve their performance and interpretation of characters. Organize and direct student performances of selected Shakespeare plays, ensuring an enriching and educational experience. Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate Shakespearean themes into the broader curriculum.
