In this role, you will design engaging curricula, deliver personalized coaching, and foster a supportive environment that encourages growth, creativity, and confidence. Your expertise will help shape the next generation of talented performers by providing expert guidance in acting techniques, stage presence, character development, and audition preparation. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive lesson plans tailored to individual student needs, covering acting techniques, scene study, improvisation, and character analysis. Conduct engaging coaching sessions for students of all ages, including children, teenagers, and adults, ensuring a positive learning experience. Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their acting skills and build confidence on stage or in front of the camera. Manage classroom environments effectively by maintaining discipline, encouraging participation, and fostering a collaborative atmosphere. Incorporate additional creative skills such as theater history, voice training, movement (including ballet or dancing), and improvisation to enrich lessons. Support students in preparing for auditions by teaching monologue selection, cold reading techniques, and performance strategies. Collaborate with students on projects that may include photography shoots or filming sessions to enhance their understanding of performance in various media formats. Experience Proven experience in acting coaching or teaching theater arts at various levels; experience working with children and adults is highly preferred. Strong background in curriculum development for acting classes or related performing arts disciplines such as theater or film studies. Classroom management skills with the ability to motivate diverse learners and adapt teaching methods accordingly. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices relevant to young learners' engagement. Familiarity with additional creative disciplines such as sewing for costume design or culinary arts for themed performances is a plus. Experience working with special education needs or behavior management strategies to support inclusive learning environments. A passion for the performing arts combined with skills in photography, ballet, dancing, or culinary arts can add valuable depth to your coaching approach.
