Job Description
TEMPORARY
staff member to cover a current employee's maternity leave from October to February. The hours are roughly 10:00 am-4:30 pm. The ideal candidate should have a clean driving record, be detail oriented, fast learning, and enthusiastic! This role involves picking kids up from various schools, planning and implementing engaging after school activities and working closely with children in a supportive and nurturing environment. Responsibilities Supervise and engage with children during mostly outdoor activities, ensuring their safety and well-being. Assist in planning and implementing messy, hands-on art activities that promote joy. Foster creativity through art and other expressive activities. Communicate effectively with parents and regarding children's progress and needs. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including administering first aid when required. Experience Candidates should possess experience or skills in the following areas: Experience working with children who have diverse needs. A clean driving record and experience driving large vehicles with children in them Familiarity with childhood development principles and practices. Knowledge of first aid procedures to ensure child safety.
