Mack Driving School is looking for experienced, professional, and dependable driving instructors to join our growing team throughout the Bay Area. This is an excellent opportunity for instructors who are currently teaching, have previous driving-instructor experience, or are looking for additional teaching opportunities with a professional driving school. At Mack Driving School, our goal is more than simply teaching students how to drive—we help students develop confidence, safe driving habits, and the skills they need for a lifetime of responsible driving. What We Offer $250 Welcome Bonus after completing 90 days of active employment, subject to eligibility Flexible scheduling Opportunities for additional teaching hours Students provided by Mack Driving School Work with both teen and adult students Professional and supportive work environment Opportunity to grow with an established Bay Area driving school Paid instructor position Duties Provide professional behind-the-wheel driving instruction to teen and adult students Teach safe driving techniques, traffic laws, defensive driving, and proper vehicle operation Evaluate students' driving abilities and identify areas that need improvement Provide clear, patient, and constructive feedback Prepare students for the California DMV driving test Conduct realistic DMV-style practice and test preparation Build student confidence while maintaining a strong focus on safety Maintain accurate lesson and student progress records Follow California DMV requirements and Mack Driving School policies Maintain a professional, patient, and positive attitude with every student Communicate effectively with students and, when appropriate, parents or guardians Requirements Applicants must have or be eligible to verify a valid California DMV Driving School Instructor License. Valid California DMV Driving School Instructor License Valid California driver's license Safe and satisfactory driving record Previous experience as a driving instructor is strongly preferred Excellent communication and teaching skills Patient, calm, and professional personality Dependable and punctual Ability to work with both teenagers and adults Strong understanding of California traffic laws and safe-driving practices Ability to adapt instruction to different students and learning styles Experienced Instructors Are Encouraged to Apply If you are currently working as a licensed driving instructor or have previous experience as a California driving instructor , we would especially like to hear from you.
