Bay Cities Driving School is hiring motivated individuals to become Driving Instructors teaching teens and adults in San Mateo through Palo Alto, CA. If you are interested in teaching life-long skills by helping people learn to drive, like working with teens and new adult drivers, and looking for an enjoyable full time or part time job with flexible hours, this may be a great fit for you. We are currently hiring primarily for weekend and weekday afternoon (after school hours) availability. We serve students on the peninsula from South San Francisco/Daly City to San Jose, including the coast. Candidates should meet the following requirements:
  • A licensed driving instructor in the state of CA with a Driving Instructor License
  • At least 25 years old
  • Strong people skills and interest in working with teens
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid CA driver license and clean driving record
  • Smartphone (iOS or Android) Additional DMV requirements are listed here: https://www.
dmv.ca.gov/portal/vehicle-industry-services/occupational-licensing/occupational-licenses/driving-school/driving-school-instructor-license/ Full and part time positions available with flexible hours. Weekend availability especially needed. Currently licensed instructors can transfer in very quickly, or share their license with another driving school, and are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • We will provide a $2.0k signing bonus for currently licensed instructors.
  • We provide a company car for all driving lessons and cover all gas and maintenance expenses.
