Duties Provide hands-on training in truck driving skills, including manual transmission operation, air brake systems, tanker operations, and handling of commercial vehicles with different configurations Assess student progress through practical evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance their driving capabilities Supervise students during behind-the-wheel training sessions on both closed courses and public roads, emphasizing safety and adherence to traffic laws Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance assessments, and certification progress Stay updated on changes in FMCSA regulations and incorporate relevant updates into instructional content Experience Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including tractor-trailer operation with a strong understanding of traffic laws and safety procedures At least 2 years experience in commercial driving Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT requirements, and safety standards related to commercial vehicle operation Familiarity with truck systems such as air brakes, manual transmissions, tanker configurations, and specialized equipment like flatbeds or refrigerated units Valid Class A CDL (Commercial Driver's License) Ability to instruct students on FMCSA guidelines for safe commercial driving practices while fostering a positive learning environment Join us in inspiring confident drivers who are prepared to meet industry demands!
