Group Instructor Survival Swim Academy CT Ansonia, CT Job Details Part-time | Full-time $16.94 - $25.00 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid training Gym membership Qualifications Training program Personal service experience with children Swimming Water safety instruction Teaching Full Job Description Group Swim Instructor Survival Swim Academy CT is growing our team and looking for enthusiastic, caring individuals to join us as Group Instructors ! Our Group Instructors play an important role in helping children maintain and build upon the survival swimming skills they have already developed. If you enjoy working with children, are passionate about water safety, and want to be part of a team that makes a meaningful difference in children's lives, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do As a Group Instructor, you will: Work with children in a supportive, structured pool environment. Maintain and reinforce skills for our fully trained swimmers and floaters. Help children continue developing confidence and consistency in the water. Follow Survival Swim Academy CT's established teaching methods and safety procedures. Create a positive, encouraging environment for children as they continue practicing their skills. Communicate professionally and positively with families and team members. Maintain a safe and organized pool environment. Training & Compensation No prior survival swim certification is required. All new Group Instructors are required to complete our training program before becoming a fully trained Group Instructor, regardless of previous swimming, teaching, or childcare experience.
Training pay:
$16.94/hour during the required training period.
Post-training pay:
$25.00/hour once you have successfully completed training and are fully trained as a Group Instructor. Our training is designed to give you the knowledge and hands-on experience needed to confidently work with our swimmers and floaters. What We're Looking For We're looking for individuals who are: Comfortable and confident working with children. Patient, encouraging, and attentive. Reliable and responsible. Comfortable working in and around a swimming pool. Willing to learn and follow our training program. Positive and professional when working with children, families, and coworkers. Passionate about helping children develop important water safety skills. Previous experience is welcome, but it is not required. We provide the training necessary to become a Group Instructor.
