A Driving Instructor is responsible for teaching students the rules of the road and the safe way to handle an automobile or motorcycle. This may involve both classroom and/or behind the wheel instruction. They are required to remain up to date with their regional and national traffic laws to insure proper curriculum and demonstration. Some inform their students on the process to obtain a valid driver's license in their region or nation.

Job Description
Full time CDL instructor needed for Georgia Driving Academy in Columbus, GA. Must possess a valid Class A CDL, have patience, good communication skills, willing to work with others and experience is a plus. Must meet Georgia Department of Driver Services instructor requirements. DOT drug test, physical, criminal background check, MVR driving record and a DDS written test must be passed to qualify under the state guidelines. Prior instructor or military experience is a plus. Assistance for licensing and training are provided by the company.

Overtime paid on hours worked over 40 per week.
