Duties Supervise and manage classroom activities for school-aged children, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment that promotes learning and social development Facilitate age-appropriate youth group activities, outdoor games, arts and crafts, and educational lessons aligned with childhood development principles Maintain discipline through effective behavior management techniques while fostering positive relationships with children Operate school buses safely, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols to transport children to and from school or extracurricular activities Conduct regular safety checks on buses before trips; ensure all safety equipment such as AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators) and first aid kits are in working order Administer first aid or CPR when necessary, following established protocols to ensure children's health and safety Collaborate with team members, parents, and caregivers to support each child's individual needs, including those requiring special education or behavioral support Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating school buses or large vehicles preferred Proven experience working with children in settings such as daycare, camp programs, tutoring, or youth groups Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies Certification in First Aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED operation, and First Aid protocols; willingness to obtain or maintain certifications as required Ability to supervise children effectively outdoors and indoors; comfort working in outdoor environments for extended periods Strong team leadership skills combined with the ability to work independently when needed Experience facilitating youth programs or teaching young children is highly desirable Excellent communication skills; compassionate approach to working with diverse groups of children including those with special needs or requiring additional support Physical ability to perform childcare duties including lifting, bending, and outdoor activity facilitation Join us in creating a safe, nurturing space where children thrive!
