This role focuses on delivering structured lessons, managing the classroom, and ensuring students are actively learning and prepared to become safe, responsible drivers. At Green Light, we don't just prepare students to pass a test—we prepare them for real-world driving. Instructors are expected to take full ownership of their classroom and create a focused, positive learning environment. Responsibilities Lead 30-hour driver education classroom sessions using provided curriculum Deliver clear, engaging lessons on traffic laws, defensive driving, and real-world scenarios Manage classroom behavior and maintain a structured, respectful environment Keep students on task, engaged, and participating throughout each session Adapt teaching style to meet different learning needs and personalities Use discussion, examples, and multimedia to reinforce key concepts Track attendance and student progress Communicate professionally with students and staff Collaborate with behind-the-wheel instructors as needed Requirements Strong reliability and punctuality Confident communication skills and ability to lead a classroom Ability to engage and manage a group of teen students Professional, patient, and approachable demeanor Willingness to learn and follow Green Light's teaching methods Preferred Qualifications Previous teaching, coaching, or training experience Experience working with teens or young adults Bilingual abilities are a plus Interest in driver safety and education Why This Role Matters Instructors play a critical role in shaping safe driving habits.
