Standard Internship $ Paid Part Time Description Nyla Nova STEMversity's Vision to to provide naturally curious students interactive STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Curriculum and Experiences for success in school and beyond. We do this by educating, empowering, and equipping scholars of today with the necessary tools to beome the STEM leaders of tomorrow. STEMversity Interns will provide hands on experience working in the field of STEM. They will learn and teach STEM curriculum, while helping students in the areas of problem solving, conflict resolution, charater building, and helping to develop our next generation scientists. The current schools we work with in the MSD of Lawrence Township are Skiles Test, Winding Ridge, and Oakandon elementary schools in the metro-Indianapolis area. Why Join Our Faculty? Our Interns must be flexible, trustworthy and responsible, as they will be assigned a campus. The learning sessions can range from 30-90 minutes, based on their campus. Our Interns can pick their schedule and be assigned between 2-8 classes per week. We offer paid training, staff shirts, STEM kits and travel reimbursement.
Qualifications All Positions Requirements:
Fingerprints, Drug Screening, Physical, CPR & First Aid, Birth Certificate, High School Diploma, and at least 12
College Credits Staff:
Our staff are highly qualified, trained, current and former educators and college students that have passed local and national background checks. Commitment to our scholars' educational, social and emotional needs are our number one priority. Experience working with groups of children ages 3-12 years old High energy, outgoing and positive personality Able to maintain an overall positive and professional disposition Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle during working hours 18 years or older and qualified to work in the country Interested in a flexible schedule and looking for part-time (contractor) work Comfortable taking a background check and drug screening CPR certified
