We are committed to providing a safe, supportive learning environment while preparing students for successful careers in the trucking industry. Position Summary We are currently seeking a dependable and experienced Class A CDL Instructor to train students in manual transmission commercial vehicles. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, professional, patient, and enjoys helping others succeed. Previous teaching experience is a plus but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate. Responsibilities Provide behind-the-wheel instruction in Class A manual transmission trucks. Teach pre-trip inspections, backing maneuvers, shifting, road driving, and safe vehicle operation. Prepare students for the Indiana CDL skills test. Monitor student progress and provide coaching and feedback. Complete required training documentation and attendance records. Maintain a safe and professional training environment. Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns. Minimum Qualifications Valid Class A CDL. Minimum 2 years of Class A commercial driving experience. Ability to operate and teach manual transmission commercial vehicles. Clean driving record. Current DOT Medical Card (or ability to obtain one). Excellent communication and customer service skills. Reliable, professional, and punctual. Schedule Monday
