Organization Information The mission of the Laurel County School District is to prepare our students for success by providing a quality education. We embrace rigorous, academic standards, technological innovations, high expectations of students and staff, as well as continuous improvement efforts to aid schools and students in the quest of proficiency. Our staff is talented, diverse, and highly qualified. We are well trained and dedicated to ensuring the growth and achievement of our students. Our state-of-the-art facilities reflect our commitment to providing a positive and productive work environment for both students and staff. Our district promotes active partnerships of school personnel with parents and community members to reduce and remove barriers to learning. The Laurel County School District consists of eleven elementary schools, two middle schools, two high schools, the McDaniel Learning Center, and Laurel County Day Treatment.
