What they do
A Driving Instructor is responsible for teaching students the rules of the road and the safe way to handle an automobile or motorcycle. This may involve both classroom and/or behind the wheel instruction. They are required to remain up to date with their regional and national traffic laws to insure proper curriculum and demonstration. Some inform their students on the process to obtain a valid driver's license in their region or nation.

Organization Information The Muhlenberg County School System serves over 4300 students from Preschool through Grade 12. There are five elementary schools, one middle schools, one high school, an alternative school that serves middle and high school students, and a technology center. We also partner with the Muhlenberg County Career Center in providing education and career training for our students. We are a district committed to excellence in teaching and learning. Performance Responsibilities:
Plans, organizes and delivers the program of instruction based on approved curriculum; monitors, evaluates, and communicates student progress, maintains records and makes reports; enforces Board policies, regulations, and rules; supervises students, and secures and maintains school property and materials.
