Job Description

LOOKING FOR DRIVING INSTRUCTORS WHO CURRENTLY ARE LICENSED BY THE STATE.
We are looking for patient, enthusiastic persons to provide driving instruction to our students. As a driving instructor, you are responsible for teaching practical application of the rules of the road and safe ways to handle an automobile. Our driving instructors provide training to high school students and adults preparing to get a personal driver's license for the first time. Each instructor works one on one with a student following a defined curriculum to achieve state minimally required driving skills and to ascertain whether additional training is required to become a safe and responsible driver. No previous experience is required. All driving instructors must have a valid CDL or chaffeur's driver's license and possess a clean driving record. All training and requirements to receive instructor certification will be provided by the driving school. The ideal candidate is patient, calm under pressure, and enjoys teaching others to learn new things.
Responsibilities:
Must maintain excellent communication with students at all times. Must demonstrate how to safely operate a motor vehicle through hands-on application and demonstration of how a car operates, how to perform safety checks, and what to do in case of an emergency Providing instruction on the parts and functions of a vehicle, and on-road regulations. Teaching practical skills related to all aspects of driving. Helping students to develop confidence in driving skills. Gaining control of the vehicle during emergency situations. Calming students who are in distress. Documenting and reporting on students' progress.
Driving Instructor Requirements:
Must be at least 22 years of age and have a High school diploma or higher equivalent. Valid CDL or CLASS D Chueffuer's driving license with clean driving record for last 5 years. Excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to work during evenings and on weekends, as required.
