Summer STEAM Site Assistants Description:

Site assistants support the summer program team and Lead Instructor with daily operations. Primary duties focus on ensuring child safety, well-being, and a positive experience. Requires high self-motivation, initiative, and a proactive approach - as well as a great sense of fun! Full and part time available.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Support:

Assist Lead Instructor with setup, facilitation, and cleanup of daily activities.

Safety:

Maintain constant vigilance for child safety, following protocols and addressing hazards.

Child Engagement:

Actively engage children, manage groups, and promote a fun, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Prior experience (preferred) working with children in structured settings (e.g., camp), including behavior management.

Transportation:

Reliable transportation is mandatory for timely attendance.

Attributes:

Must be self-motivated, proactive, dependable, energetic, and possess strongmunication/interpersonal skills. You must be available M-F 18+
