Hold a CDA credential, Associates in Early Childhood Education/related field or be enrolled in a program leading to either; ? Be CPR/First Aid Certified; ? At least one (1) year experience as an infant/toddler teacher, preferred; ? Able to be active eight (8) hours a day to support children with individual needs that may include disabilities. Physically able to safely supervise children six (6) weeks ? five (5) years of age, including but not limited to lifting a child up to 50 lbs., pushing and/or pulling up to 75 lbs., climbing stairs, participating in field trips and neighborhood walks; ? Must be able to pass background checks (CORI, DCF, SORI, and Fingerprint-based National and State criminal history background check); ? Must have a valid driver?s license. The Early Head Start Teacher will have secondary responsibility for planning and managing the daily activities of the classroom and will communicate cooperatively and support parents, teaching staff, and program managers concerning program operations and services to children and families. SALARY:
