Job Description
CDL Drivers Only Pay Range:
$26.18 - $28.50 per hour based on Experience Signing Bonus $2,000Locations:
Charles County Maryland Summary All Pro All Services is seeking qualified and licensed drivers to operate Charles County Maryland school buses. They will be responsible for driving the buses along the designated specified routes and schedules as outlined by the school district, including daily home-to-school routes, field trips, and extracurricular activities. As an APAS Driver you will be responsible for safely transporting children to and from schools. This rewarding position requires someone who is detail-oriented, compassionate, and committed to providing exceptional service to children who rely on our transportation to access their education. Key Responsibilities Safely operate vehicles adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols May involve Transporting children with special needs Assist children with boarding and exiting the vehicle Create a positive, supportive environment for all passengers during transport Monitor and respond appropriately to children's behavior and needs while en route Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Maintain accurate records including trip logs, attendance sheets, and incident reports Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes, delays, or concerns Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with School Bus (S) and Passenger (P) endorsements Clean driving record with no major violations Experience working with children, (in some cases children with special needs) CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening Strong communication and interpersonal skills Exceptional patience, empathy, and attention to details Be responsible for driving the buses along the designated routes as outlined by the school district, including daily home-to-school routes, field trips, and extracurricular Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain consistent schedules Preferred Experience Previous student transportation experience (plus)Key Requirements:
Hold a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements (S&P) as required by the state of Maryland. activities. Be in good standing with the State of Maryland Department of Motor Vehicles Administration. Additionally, drivers must complete any certifications and/or training(s) required by CCPS or state regulations. Drug, alcohol, and tobacco free.
