Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Driving Instructor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for teaching students the skills necessary to become safe and confident drivers. You will conduct behind-the-wheel training, ensuring that students understand driving laws, safety practices, and the importance of responsible driving. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage a diverse selection of students will be essential to their success. Responsibilities Deliver engaging on the road instruction on driving theory, traffic laws, and safe driving practices. Provide hands-on behind-the-wheel training to students, guiding them through various driving scenarios. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their driving skills. Develop lesson plans that cater to different learning styles and abilities. Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence. Manage BTW sessions effectively, ensuring all students are engaged and learning at their own pace. Stay updated on state regulations regarding driver education and implement any necessary changes in curriculum or teaching methods. Experience Proven experience in teaching or training, preferably in an educational setting or adult education. Strong background in driving with a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Experience working with students of varying ages and backgrounds, demonstrating patience and adaptability. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey information clearly and effectively. Previous experience as a driving instructor is a plus but not required; we welcome candidates who are passionate about teaching others how to drive safely.
