You will be leading a class of students through the summer, encouraging students to learn in various environments and build social-emotional strategies. Our mission is to create a local community where children are challenged intellectually, become empowered and interested in lifelong learning and engage in the arts to accelerate the development of their Confidence, Commitment, and Character . Each child enrolled in our program will experience: Performing Arts Our proprietary P.A. curriculum fully integrates music, dance, and theater into our age appropriate development standards through classes and Broadway style productions. Learning Through Life Experiences Our proprietary L.T.L.E. curriculum complements dedicated and focused play areas to accelerate cognitive, emotional, and social development. Responsibilities Create and follow a comprehensive curriculum Teach beginning reading and math skills Assist children with developing social and emotional skills Use a range of instructional methods and learning techniques Communicate with parents and other school personnel Assess students' skills and performance to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones Qualifications Must be 18 or older At least 1 year of experience with kindergarten through fifth grade students 45 hour School-Age certification required 90 hour certification (Growth and Development/Methods and Materials) preferred Associates Degree preferred CDA preferred Willingness to complete First Aid & CPR Training Willingness to complete additional pre-service trainings as needed
