Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and responsible Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to join our well established concrete /flatwork company team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport passengers or goods, ensuring timely and secure deliveries.. Your energetic approach and attention to safety will help us maintain high standards of reliability and professionalism. Responsibilities Safely operate various types of commercial vehicles, including buses, and delivery trucks, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations with a good track record. Transport passengers or cargo efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and mechanical readiness Communicate clearly with passengers, clients, or dispatchers using effective language skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus Manage behavior and ensure the safety of children or senior passengers during transit, employing behavior management techniques as needed Assist with loading, unloading, or securing cargo when applicable Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance needs Experience Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for bus driving or commercial transportation, DOT card preferred Proven experience in driving Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities such as bilingual proficiency are highly desirable but not required Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems to identify basic issues and perform routine maintenance checks Demonstrated ability to handle behavior management situations calmly and effectively Join us to make a difference through safe, reliable transportation!
