• Job Summary JST-I is an Instructor member of a team working with and training selected Special Operations Forces, Conventional Military Forces, Federal, State and Local Law Enforcement Entities in the field of Human Ground Tracking, Anti-Tracking, Advanced Observation, and Threat Behavior Profiling in order to fully develop unique skill sets enhancing situational combative awareness in all types of operations and terrain. JST courses are taught as Mobile Training Teams in CONUS and OCONUS locations. Specific Responsibilities Will have participated or led a selected team in the conduct of teaching, coaching, and mentoring students in all phases of JST Supports the Lead Instructor in the development of and participates in all training events; providing instructor and student training materials; and assess fellow instructors and student progress across the full spectrum of the JST program Works closely with team instructors to continue to review and assess all written materials; platform instruction delivery of class and field-based material; and the conduct phases of all drills, exercises, and scenario development Will serve as a JNAT instructor when required Requirements Past performance in active service and/or supporting Special Operations Forces, Conventional Forces, Federal, State and local Law Enforcement members desired Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills Must possess high self-motivation and work ethic to deliver high quality instruction in selected subject matter Graduation from a Service Level Sniper School id desired but not required Must be able to multi-task effectively, work in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong sense of attention to detail Work experience in executing training instruction and concepts, assessments, and performance evaluation system Physical Requirements and Work Environment Full workdays (0700-1700) in varied terrain and field, and garrison environment Selected night training events Physically fit to enable leading student training in all aspects of JST program The JST Instructor will be required to cross train as a Joint Network Analysis & Targeting Instructor.
