PMA Instructor Responsibilities:

Classroom Floor Duties:

Preparing daily class plans, reviewing with assistants, and delivering amazing, fast-paced classes, utilizing our training, support and proven techniques. Teaching all classes, including often times working with an assistant to lead certain portions of class as they build their confidence and abilities. Leading member and prospect communications, routinely replying to questions, communicating important event information, and helping connect members to advanced programs and prospects to our studio. Learning and delivering proven components of our classes, including student creed, anchors, our cycle of instruction, mat chats, use of our technology to sign in, upgrade, renew and more. Warmly and passionately greet students, families and guests, recognizing the positive energy we must delivery with every interaction on the floor or off. Using our proven skills to help students maintain focus, show respect and stay fully engaged. Keeping the studio clean, organized and welcoming. Putting safety first.

Qualifications:

• Prior Martial Arts Experience (Black Belt in any primary martial arts discipline)
• Black Belt certification highly desired, but not required (we provide the opportunity to test and earn your BB on the job)
• Weapons experience (bo staff, nunchucku, sword, kama, kali stick, defensive gun and knife)
• Willingness to work with and teach all age groups (age 3 to seniors)
• Organized-Self Starter and Team Player
• Service First Mentality
• Comfortable learning & teaching the Premier Martial Arts curriculum.

Hours:

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 1:30
• 9:30 and Saturdays 9 am
• 1 p.

m., with availability for special events such as birthday parties, parent's night out, introductory lessons, parent orientation, phase testing, graduations, tournaments, etc.
