A Driving Instructor is responsible for teaching students the rules of the road and the safe way to handle an automobile or motorcycle. This may involve both classroom and/or behind the wheel instruction. They are required to remain up to date with their regional and national traffic laws to insure proper curriculum and demonstration. Implement our award-winning curriculum in a way that meets each child's unique learning style. Foster relationships with children and provide a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment. Document and share with families the important milestones in a child's day using our app. Encourage and model social behavior and expectations which are developmentally appropriate.Driver Responsibilities:
Safely transport children to/from area elementary schools and field trips in a small bus. Ensure a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment. Complete safety checks and drills. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. NCECC certificate preferred Willingness to drive a 14-passenger minibus (no CDL required). Must be at least 21 years old. Ability to bend, stoop, lift, and work while standing. Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation. BSAC training required.
