This role is responsible for creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment for school-age children through planned activities, lesson plans, games, crafts, and hands-on projects. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, can keep students actively engaged throughout the day, and works well as part of a team. Perfect for a college student looking for a summer job! Responsibilities Plan and lead age-appropriate summer activities and lesson plans Organize fun projects, games, crafts, and enrichment activities Supervise and engage children throughout the day Assist with field trips and off-site activities Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times Maintain a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment Communicate professionally with staff and parents Follow all licensing and safety procedures Qualifications Experience working with school-age children preferred Strong communication and classroom management skills Reliable, patient, and energetic personality Ability to work well in a team environment First Aid/CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of employment Must be able to pass required background checks Schedule Monday through Friday 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Pay Competitive pay based on experience.
