Licensed Driving Instructor

Overview We are seeking a professional and dedicated Licensed Driving Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching, strong communication skills, and the ability to effectively instruct students of various ages. This role involves guiding new drivers through the fundamentals of safe driving, providing classroom instruction, and ensuring students develop the skills necessary to become confident, responsible drivers. Responsibilities Conduct classroom instruction sessions on traffic laws, safety procedures, and driving techniques Provide behind-the-wheel training to students, demonstrating safe driving practices and techniques Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to improve their driving skills Develop customized lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and learning styles Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and evaluations Ensure all instruction complies with state licensing requirements and safety standards Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and confidence Stay updated on current traffic laws, regulations, and best practices in driver education Requirements Valid Licensed Driving Instructor certification in the state of operation Proven experience in driving and teaching, with strong classroom management skills Excellent communication skills to effectively convey instructions and feedback Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels Ability to manage classroom activities efficiently while maintaining a professional demeanor Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping Prior experience in adult education or classroom experience is preferred but not required Must possess a clean driving record and demonstrate safe driving habits at all times This position is integral to promoting safe driving habits and empowering students with the knowledge they need to navigate the roads confidently.
