Share this job SVGs not supported by this browser. Description Charger Logistics is seeking an experienced and versatile Driver Trainer to support our Safety & Compliance Department. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong commercial driving background, safety and compliance experience, and the ability to take on a variety of operational and administrative responsibilities as business needs evolve. The successful candidate will be responsible for training, mentoring, onboarding, and supporting drivers while assisting with safety, compliance, recruitment, and other departmental initiatives. Responsibilities Conduct new driver orientation and onboarding programs. Train and coach drivers on company policies, DOT/FMCSA regulations, HOS, ELD usage, and safe driving practices. Perform driver evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback. Support the Safety & Compliance team with maintaining Driver Qualification Files (DQFs) and training records. Assist with compliance audits, documentation reviews, and safety initiatives. Monitor driver performance and address safety or compliance concerns. Assist with driver recruitment activities, onboarding coordination, and administrative tasks. Support front office operations and provide assistance to drivers, employees, and visitors. Prepare reports, maintain records, and complete data entry as required. Be flexible and willing to support multiple departments and responsibilities as operational needs require. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Active CDL Class A License is REQUIRED and must be in good standing. Minimum 2 years of CDL driving experience preferred. Previous experience in driver training, transportation, safety, compliance, fleet operations, or a related field. Strong understanding of
DOT/FMCSA
regulations, HOS, ELDs, driver qualification requirements, and transportation safety. Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills. Strong administrative, organizational, and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work across multiple functions and departments. Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Benefits Schedule Monday to
