Location:
The Little Rascals Child Care Center Schedule:
Part-Time, Monday through Friday, 12 PM - 6:00
PM Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and responsible individual to fill the role of After-School Teacher and Driver. This dual position requires providing care and guidance to after-school children, as well as safely transporting them from school to the center. If you have a passion for working with children, strong time management skills, and a clean driving record, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Student Pickup and Transportation:
Safely transport children from their school to the daycare center using the school vehicle.
Afternoon Supervision:
Oversee and manage after-school students during afternoon hours, ensuring they are engaged in appropriate activities.
Classroom Management:
Plan and implement fun, engaging, and age-appropriate activities for children, promoting learning and positive social interactions.
Homework Assistance:
Provide support with homework and educational tasks where needed.
Safety Procedures:
Ensure all children follow safety guidelines, both during transport and while at the center.
Behavior Management:
Foster a positive environment, guiding children on proper behavior and resolving conflicts effectively.
Parent Communication:
Maintain open communication with parents regarding the day's activities, behavior, and any issues that may arise.
Vehicle Care:
Ensure the transportation vehicle is clean and report any maintenance issues to management promptly.
Less Planning Qualifications:
Experience working with school-age children in an educational or care setting. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record. CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain). Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and assist children as needed. Ability to sit, stand, walk, and drive for extended periods.
Compensation and Benefits:
This is a part-time position with opportunities for growth within the school.
Job Type:
Part-time Pay:
$12.00 - $15.00 per hour
