Job Overview We are seeking energetic and safety-conscious Motor Coach Drivers to join our team! This role offers an exciting opportunity to transport passengers safely across various destinations while ensuring a positive travel experience. As a Motor Coach Driver, you will be responsible for operating large passenger vehicles with professionalism, adhering to all safety regulations, and providing excellent customer service. A $1500 sign-on bonus is available for qualified applicants who join our team! Duties Safely operate motor coaches on scheduled routes or charter trips, navigating city streets and highways with precision. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after each trip to ensure safety and compliance with transportation safety regulations. Assist passengers with boarding, including those with special needs or requiring passenger assistance, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the journey. Communicate effectively with dispatch using two-way radios to receive instructions and relay important information. Follow all traffic laws, DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, and state transportation rules while driving in various weather conditions. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle inspections, and trip details as required by federal and state regulations. Provide excellent customer service by creating a friendly environment, answering passenger questions, and addressing any concerns professionally. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a passenger endorsement; experience operating motor coaches or school buses is highly preferred. Proven driving experience in transportation settings such as shuttle driving, paratransit, or delivery driving. Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle inspections and identify maintenance needs. Knowledge of traffic laws, defensive driving techniques, air brake systems, and vehicle safety standards. Ability to navigate city streets confidently using maps or GPS systems; familiarity with local routes is a plus. Excellent communication skills in English for effective interaction with passengers and team members. Ability to drive safely in adverse weather conditions and handle emergency situations calmly. Prior experience with vehicle maintenance or shuttle driving is advantageous but not required; training will be provided if needed.
