A Driving Instructor is responsible for teaching students the rules of the road and the safe way to handle an automobile or motorcycle. This may involve both classroom and/or behind the wheel instruction. They are required to remain up to date with their regional and national traffic laws to insure proper curriculum and demonstration. Some inform their students on the process to obtain a valid driver's license in their region or nation.

This role is perfect for someone who loves working with children, is highly organized, and can drive a company van to safely pick up and drop off children from local FCPS schools. We're looking for someone who: Is a team player with a positive, can-do attitude. Loves working with people and building meaningful connections. Communicates effectively with children, families, and colleagues (bonus points if you speak Spanish, French, or Mandarin ). Is meticulously organized and skilled at managing filing systems. Can safely operate a van with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Supervises children while promoting safety, respect, and fun . Is an A-player — driven to set and achieve goals, and eager to help the team succeed. Brings solutions instead of problems — sees challenges as opportunities and isn't afraid to suggest bold, creative ideas.
What You'll Do:
Follow school policies, county, and state regulations. Safely pick up and drop off children from elementary schools. Coordinate events and on-site enrichment classes. Greet and welcome students, families, and visitors. Monitor children's health, safety, and well-being. Participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions.
