Aftercare Teacher - Join Our Thriving Child Care Team in Tysons! Are you ready to make a difference in children's lives while being part of a growing, successful, and supportive team? The T.E.A. Center in the Tysons area is looking for a passionate and reliable Aftercare Teacher with availability between 12:00 PM - 7:00 PM . This role is perfect for someone who loves working with children, is highly organized, and can drive a company van to safely pick up and drop off children from local FCPS schools. We're looking for someone who: Is a team player with a positive, can-do attitude. Loves working with people and building meaningful connections. Communicates effectively with children, families, and colleagues (bonus points if you speak Spanish, French, or Mandarin ). Is meticulously organized and skilled at managing filing systems. Can safely operate a van with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Supervises children while promoting safety, respect, and fun . Is an A-player — driven to set and achieve goals, and eager to help the team succeed. Brings solutions instead of problems — sees challenges as opportunities and isn't afraid to suggest bold, creative ideas.
What You'll Do:
Follow school policies, county, and state regulations. Safely pick up and drop off children from elementary schools. Coordinate events and on-site enrichment classes. Greet and welcome students, families, and visitors. Monitor children's health, safety, and well-being. Participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Warm, caring, and outgoing personality. Professional, punctual, and adaptable. Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills. Flexible schedule between 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, Monday-Friday .
