Position Function:
Time-limited teaching position at the lecturer level.
Salary Grade :
UC Please see Staff Compensation Structure or Skilled Crafts and Service Maintenance Compensation Schedule for salary ranges. For salary grade UC, these positions are "Unclassified" and salary ranges are determined by the hiring department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide instructions for designated course. Cover course objectives outlined in the NCATE syllabus. Provide homework assignments and other activities. Write and proctor examinations. Provide feedback and instructions for examinations and assignments. Calculate and post mid-term and final grades. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum requirements for teaching an undergraduate course: master's degree in field. Minimum requirements for teaching graduate course: doctorate in the field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Doctorate and one year of college teaching experience preferred for undergraduate and graduate courses.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to foster a supportive learning environment. Ability to design and deliver an engaging and effective learning experience. Familiarity with instructional technology and assessment methods. Working Conditions and Physical Effort Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
