Job Description:
The Department of Humanities & Social Sciences is seeking candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas to teach introductory and intermediate courses for the Fall 2026 semester: Economics.
Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in Economics from an accredited college, university or a foreign equivalent. OR Master's degree in one of the following disciplines and 18 graduate-level credits in Political Science or Government from an accredited college, university or a foreign equivalent: Agricultural Economics, Business Administration, Environmental/Natural Resource Economics, Finance/Financial Economics, Law and Economics
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
College teaching experience. Bilingual in English and Spanish. English and other languages will be considered.
Additional Information:
Adjunct rate of pay for the 26/27 academic year is $1,527/credit hour. Classes will be assigned on an as needed basis dependent upon enrollment. Adjuncts are eligible to participate in the NYS Teacher's Retirement System.
