Job Description

The School of Business at Providence College is seeking a practitioner faculty member in finance to begin in the Fall 2026 semester. A practitioner is defined as a full-time contract faculty member who has specialized and significant training, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience in a particular field relevant to a departmental or programmatic need. The successful candidate for this position will be expected to teach introductory-level and intermediate-level undergraduate courses in finance, including in the areas of financial markets and investments. The successful candidate will also be expected to engage in practice-oriented activities consistent with the standards of AACSB, and to engage in service activities for the school and the college. The salary range for the position is $96,000 - $101,000. A minimum of a master's degree in finance, or a related field, from an AACSB-accredited institution is required.
