Job Description

Gardner-Webb University invites applications for adjunct faculty in the College of Education, Undergraduate initial Licensure program. The adjunct will teach, mentor, and advise undergraduate students/candidates in the teacher education program.

Requirements include:
Degree:
Ph.D. or Ed.

D. in Curriculum and Instruction or closely related areaHold or be eligible to hold current North Carolina educator certificationHold a successful record of P-12 classroom teaching, and evidence of faculty leadership experience with and/or a commitment to working with culturally-diverse and/or at-risk student populationsInterested candidates should complete the application and include a letter of interest, unofficial transcripts, and curriculum vitae with their application submission.

Unofficial transcripts are acceptable for application review.

If hired, official transcripts must be sent directly from the institution (to Academic Affairs for full-time and undergraduate adjuncts, or to gradstudies@gardner-webb.edu for graduate adjuncts).
