Position Summary The UNC Division of Nephrology and Hypertension, Department of Medicine, is currently seeking an Open Rank Faculty Position with training and interest in transplant nephrology. Duties include, but are not limited to: inpatient and outpatient care of kidney and pancreas transplant recipients, evaluation of recipient and donor candidates, and inpatient rotations on the transplant nephrology, nephrology consult service and inpatient nephrology service. Teaching responsibilities include regular teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows in addition, other teaching responsibilities are shared with Division members including conferences, AHEC activities, and continuing medical education programs related to clinical interests. Pursuit of academic research or administrative interests in the field of transplantation is also expected. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements MD or equivalent. BC/BE in Nephrology Transplant. Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience Completion of a transplant fellowship certified by the American Society of Transplantation.
