Position Summary The Adolescence Education program at SUNY Cortland is accepting applications to fill potential part-time adjunct faculty openings for the 2026-2027 academic year. AED 600 is a required course in the Master of Science in Teaching ( MST ) in Adolescence Education, which is offered fully online. Functional and Supervisory Relationships Reports to the academic department chair. Required Qualifications Master's degree. Preferred Qualifications Terminal degree preferred. Teaching experience in grades 7-12 in at least one of the following areas:- Biology
- Chemistry
- Earth Science
- English
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Social Studies Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of NYS certification requirements in at least one of the following areas:
