Applicants will be considered for the faculty titles of Instructional Assistant Professor, Instructional Associate Professor, or Instructional Professor, depending on qualifications. The position requires teaching, service, and research to the Department/College, the profession, and the public. The position provides opportunities for an individual with a strong commitment to an academic career emphasizing innovative educational, service, and scholarly activities. Scholarly activity and service activity are required; publication and presentation activity, as well as professional and college services are expected. The academic responsibilities include teaching topics related to pharmacy law, practice, skills classes, and health education to students and residents as assigned. Traveling between the campuses of the Rangel College of Pharmacy is expected and common.
