Job Description
The College Navigator supports the college's partnerships with K-12 institutions while providing comprehensive advising and support to prospective, dual enrollment, and current students. This position assists in the coordination and delivery of dual enrollment programs, guides students and families through admissions and enrollment processes, and provides academic advising related to course selection, career pathways, and program requirements. The Navigator promotes student success and retention by connecting students to campus resources, collaborating with faculty and staff on college readiness initiatives, and ensuring accurate communication of academic programs and support services. Additionally, the role supports data collection, reporting, and the coordination of workshops and outreach activities involving K-12 partners.
Pay Scale:
$40,000 yearly. Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications and must submit a complete application packet through the on-line application system to be considered. Assists with coordination and support of dual enrollment program operations and processes. Provides guidance to prospective, dual enrollment, and current students, parents, and K-12 personnel on program requirements, opportunities, and pathways. Assists students with admissions, scholarship, enrollment, and registration processes. Serves as a resource for adjunct faculty teaching dual enrollment courses, providing information on college processes, student support, and program requirements. Conducts orientations and informational sessions for prospective and dual enrollment students as needed. Provides academic advising to prospective and current students, including career exploration, pathway guidance, and course selection. Refers students to appropriate campus resources and support services to promote persistence and completion. Supports retention efforts and student success initiatives across the College. Collaborates with faculty and staff on dual enrollment, student success, and college readiness initiatives. Ensures accurate and consistent communication of academic programs, policies, and student support services. Assists with data collection, preparation of reports, and coordination of workshops and outreach activities involving K-12 partners. Perform other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Instruction and Student Services or the College President. EXPERIENCE A
bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required . Experience in academic advising and dual enrollment is preferred.
