Concurrent Education Director

The Concurrent Education Director reports to the Vice Chancellor for Academics and Planning and is responsible for coordinating the Dual/Concurrent Enrollment Program and Credit Recovery Program. This is a 12-month, 40 hours per week, on-campus position. If not residing in Camden or the surrounding area, relocation is required. Essential Functions Statement(s)

• Coordinates Dual/Concurrent Enrollment Program to include serving as the liaison between SAU Tech and the public schools to assist with connecting SAU Tech faculty and staff to the appropriate public school liaison for disseminating and collecting information, updating MOUs and concurrent faculty and student handbooks, coordinating the admission and registration process, and keeping supervisor abreast of the status, progress or any challenges.

• Coordinate the

NACEP/ADHE

accreditation process to include obtaining information needed from on-campus faculty and staff, submitting required documentation and reports, coordinating required professional development activities, coordinating and facilitating any required Concurrent Enrollment faculty and student orientation tracking SAU Tech faculty site visits and reporting back to supervisor with any issues with non-compliance, and coordinate any survey and assessment requirements with SAU Tech and the public schools.

• Coordinate Credit Recovery Program to include student registration, monitoring progress, and public school grade reporting.
• Attends workshops and meetings to stay abreast of trends applicable to Concurrent Enrollment, NACEP/ADHE, and other applicable program areas.
• Responsible for keeping the Concurrent Credit web pages up to date on the SAU Tech website.
• Manage budgets for all assigned areas of responsibility.
• Master Plan reporting, revision, and follow up.
• Performs related duties as required or assigned.

Other Requirements:

Knowledge of administrative office management. Knowledge of business English, spelling, and punctuation. Ability to supervise a small staff of clerical employees. Ability to compile information into report form. Ability to make recommendations on administrative office needs. Ability to operate office equipment.
