Interviews By June 5, 2026 Job Summary Job Summary Under the direction of the STEAM and Expanded Learning Executive Director, manage and supervise all aspects of the operations of the Expanded Learning Department. Provide county-wide leadership regarding all issues related to Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) and expanded learning programs, including local, state, and federal requirements and guidance. Provide county-wide leadership in the establishment, implementation, and evaluation of expanded learning programs to ensure high levels of student learning and engagement, including data driven decision making. Provide timely information and access to support services to district personnel for the purpose of implementing and evaluating expanded learning policies, procedures, and practices. Interpret state and federal requirements and guidelines to district and site administrators, instructional personnel, school boards, parents, and community members. Qualifications Education and Credentials:
  • Administrative Services Credential required.
  • Master's or doctorate degree required.
Experience:
  • Successful experience in as school setting.
  • Successful administrative experience.
  • Successful experience in developing, implementing and evaluating instructional programs.
  • Successful experience providing professional learning.
Must possess a private vehicle, valid California driver's license and carry current automobile insurance with at least minimum coverage for public liability and property damage. Fingerprint clearance by both the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice is a condition of appointment after all other required job conditions have been met. In addition to submitting the certificated application, qualified candidates should upload: Copy of Transcript Credential Copy Letter of Introduction (Letter of Interest) Letter(s) of Recommendation (Three (3) letters from within last three (3) years.)
