Job Summary Job Summary Under the direction of the High School Principal or designated district administrator, the Associate Principal assists in the administration, supervision, and leadership of all school programs and operations and assumes responsibility for the full operation of the school in the principal's absence. The Associate Principal serves as a key instructional leader of the school, with primary responsibility for supporting, strengthening, and monitoring the instructional program; supporting assistant principals; coordinating the summer program; coordinating dual enrolment; coordinating site professional development; and working collaboratively with staff, students, parents, and the community to ensure high levels of learning, equitable outcomes, and a safe, positive school climate for a diverse, multilingual student population. This role assists in aligning site operations, student services, and instructional systems to District priorities and school improvement goals.
