Our Daycare serves up to 100 students daily. The assistants manage grade level groups of students between 2:00-6:00pm Monday - Thursday, and 12:15pm-6:00pm on Friday throughout the school year. The Counselors prepare crafts and other fun activities, assist with the varying needs of students, supervise recess, and support learning by creating an atmosphere where students can complete homework. The position is hired and evaluated by the Principal and Director of Daycare. Requirements Team player who practices open communication regarding concerns for students with parents and staff Organized and thoughtful in preparing materials and activities Ability to multi-task, be flexible, and remain calm in a fast paced environment Ensure that all staff and children are respectful of school property and all school rules are followed High school diploma; at least two years of college or BA preferred Bilingual in Spanish a plus This is a great opportunity for college students, recent college graduates, and aspiring teachers to make a real difference in the lives of students and their families.
