Job Description

Overview We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Student Services Assistant/Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about education and eager to support the administrative functions within a university setting. As a Student Services Assistant/Front Desk Receptionist, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in education administration while contributing to the academic success of students. Responsibilities Greet students and be a point of contact and support for them the moment they enter the campus. Assist faculty and staff with administrative tasks related to education programs and student services. Support the organization of events, workshops, and special intensive classes aimed at enhancing student learning experiences. Provide guidance and information to students regarding university resources and academic policies. Collaborate with team members on projects that promote student engagement and success. Assist with maintenance of student records and documentation. Experience Previous experience working with college or graduate students in an educational setting is preferred. Familiarity with higher education teaching methodologies and educational administration processes is a plus. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for effectively assisting students. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills in a dynamic environment. This position is ideal for individuals looking to enhance their professional development while making a meaningful impact within a university community.

Part-time Schedule:
4- to 8-hour shift The schedule will vary, depending on our class schedule.
Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
