Job Summary:
Vernon Middle School is seeking a motivated and experienced educational leader to serve as Assistant Principal . This individual will assist the principal in overseeing daily campus operations, promoting a safe and positive learning environment, and supporting academic achievement for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the principal in implementing campus goals and instructional programs Provide leadership in student discipline, attendance, and campus safety Evaluate and provide feedback to instructional staff to support professional growth Assist in planning and facilitating campus events and daily schedules Monitor student performance and collaborate with staff to develop interventions Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and the community Ensure compliance with district policies and state/federal regulations Help manage campus budgets, resources, and staffing needs
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Educational Administration or related field Valid Texas Principal Certification Minimum of three years of successful classroom teaching experience Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to support a culture of high expectations and student success Applicants should apply through the Vernon ISD employment portal.
