Job Description:
The Fire Alarm Superintendent will oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety and quality. The ideal candidate will manage a team of technicians, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the fire alarm installation team.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal fire codes and regulations.
  • Conduct site inspections and assessments to determine project requirements.
  • Provide training and mentorship to team members on installation techniques and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to fire alarm systems and components.
  • Ensure that all work is completed in a safe and efficient manner. Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in fire alarm systems preferred: California Fire Life Safety Certified, (Nicet Certifications is a plus)
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in fire alarm installation and service, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems (Potter, Silent Knight & Fire-Lite a must), codes, and standards (e.g., NFPA).
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Understanding and Knowledge of Procore Management Software Pay:
    $115,000.00
  • $130,000.
