Job Description
SSDLPG is looking for candidates with 3-6 years of experience with strong research, writing and people skills. The group's practice area encompasses virtually all issues concerning students in pre-school-12 th grade. Candidates would be supporting Senior Associates, Of Counsel and Partners in the SSDLPG. Mentoring, client contact, upward advancement opportunities and competitive compensation await suitable candidates. Candidates must possess transportation to travel to the office and clients. The group focuses on and needs particular expertise in matters concerning special education, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Americans with Disabilities Act, etc and student discipline. Our Firm provides daily advice and counsel to our clients on these matters as well as supporting our clients in all aspects of student related litigation and interactions with the California Office of Administrative Hearings (OAH), California Department of Education (CDE) and Federal agencies regarding student disability and discrimination matters concerning students.
