Position Description:

Under the direction of the Superintendent of Schools, the Principal will work with a committed team of district administrators to provide leadership and supervision of the educational program to promote the educational development and achievement of students in accordance with North Conejos School District policies, and administrative procedures, rules and regulations and applicable law. The Principal will oversee the development of a quality staff and both model and direct instructional practice with the ability to utilize school performance data to drive the instruction of students. The Principal is responsible for the discipline and safety of students under applicable law and policy. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION

 Master's Degree or emphasis in educational leadership/administration with a valid Colorado Principal License or eligible to receive one  Meet the condition of employment via clearance of a CBI/FBI background check
