While virtual work may be permitted based on specific site needs and work responsibilities, the ability to be physically present at designated locations as needed is essential to the successful execution of this position's duties. Provide leadership, direction, supervision, operations, and accountability of the academic and non-academic duties of school personnel Collaborates with the school leadership for the efficient operation of school facilities and programs Serve as an instructional leader by monitoring implementation of professional development and instructional efforts according to the school improvement plan, policies, and procedures Implement and monitor metrics for behavioral expectations and policies including monitoring attendance trends and overseeing truancy interventions; address safety and welfare issues by holding meetings with parents, investigating incidents, documenting findings, contacting proper authorities, and conforming to legal requirements and regulations Collect and analyze data from all assessments and diagnostic instruments and develop strategies for intervening with students who are experiencing difficulties with the focus on academic improvement Lead the staff in intensive data analysis and results and goal planning Comply with and enforce standards of Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and other federal and state laws concerning privacy, confidentiality, and reporting Model a variety of instructional strategies designed to be rigorous and mirror assessment Perform indirect supervision of employees including serving as an instructional leader assigning and directing work, interviewing, evaluating performance, disciplining and resolving issues Mentor new teachers and assist in the orientation of new employees Assist as needed with parent conferences and all involved personnel regarding attendance or disciplinary problems Coordinate support services to ensure student progress toward the fulfillment of graduation requirements Other duties as assigned Accountability Standards for allGOAL Academy High School Staff:
