TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Approximately July 1, 2025- August 09, 2025, up to 6 Hours/Day X 20 Days
PRIMARY FUNCTION
To direct the Summer School ESY Program
TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This description of the position of ESY Coordinator is for identification and administrative purposes only. It is not intended to be a complete statement of all duties, which may be assigned or adjusted by the Superintendent of Schools according to varying needs. Supervise licensed teachers, paraprofessionals, related service personnel and volunteers. Performs various duties related to schedules of students and their related services. Coordinate schedules for all staff, including set up date, for up to 8 hours. Facilitate in-service training programs prior to the start of ESY. Arrange training for bus monitors, attend training. Maintain safety of all transportation services and await all-clear from transportation company daily. Perform other duties as specified by the Director of Special Services.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Certified Staff Member, as set by the State of CT certification requirements. Supervisory experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bilingual, Spanish and English. Experience facilitating training. Experience coordinating scheduling. Experience as a Lead Teacher or Administrator. Certified Special Education Teacher.
