Job Description:
The Records/Reports Specialist is a 12-month position under the supervision of the Collegiate High School Principal. The individual filling this position is expected to play a positive role in helping the College change as necessary to effectively carry out its mission. In compliance with approved policies and procedures be accountable for the following: Serves as contact for callers and visitors, assesses need and urgency, of any of the calls and responds as appropriate. Follows through until closure is reached. Responds to incoming telephone calls from students, parents, staff, and visitors, using sound judgment regarding priority of calls and daily business Prepares reports, forms, and correspondence from data approved and/or submitted by the Principal for compliance with charter school contract, NWFSC Governing Board Policy, and Florida State Laws Registers students for classes in Banner Admits students in the Okaloosa County School System, builds the master-schedule and individualized student schedules that qualify for FTE funds, prepare and files all documents for FTE. Prepares and submits bus FTE Prepares various reports that are required by the state through the Okaloosa County School District. Prepares & processes Federal Impact cards for federal funds Processes free/ reduced lunch applications keeping records for state reporting Prepares staff survey 4 times a year for state reporting. Maintains all required paperwork of official school documents that are subject to state audits Maintains part-time personnel time-sheets Keeps accurate records for appropriate accounting, property inventory including books and laptops, FTE projections for funding to formulate the school budget Stocks and maintains office supplies Orders all supplies for Collegiate High School, including furniture and computers using appropriate vendors and best price sources Works collaboratively with all college employees to promote student success Has the ability to prioritize tasks Completes annual compliance training Performs other duties as assigned Benefits Health insurance for employee and dependent coverage available. Requirements:
High school diploma required, A.A. Degree preferred At least four (4) years of experience in a similar position at K-12 public school or Community College level Knowledge of and experience with the Microsoft office suite Demonstrated interest in students and the ability to relate to students, faculty, and parents Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
